Below are concept site plans and elevations of my project. It includes the ferry terminal, a museum and an observation tower. Its important to note that the differences in shape of the buildings or option and the site plans are only meant for building location. You can switch the building shape on option 1 with option 2, but remain in the same location.
The elevation of the project includes a 100-140 feet observation tower that will be the landmark symbol of red hook. Yes I know that there is a 60 feet max zoning height, but I will/have/did speak to prof. Jill and/or Lia and I Will/have/did get the zoning variance.

These are great sketches. It would be nice to see more of these, with no editing or refinement, just your pure generative thoughts through iterations. I really get a good sense of how you want the masses to flow and move, as opposed to the previous 'massing diagrams'. When design concepts go straight into 3D we lose opportunity to explore, in my opinion and to some extent, as we are confined by what the computer allows us to do. While the 3D modeling programs are quite flexible they still somewhat force one to yield to a 'refinement' period between drawing and rendering.
Sketch more of your notes and ideas, allow them to flow like stream of consciousness and intertwine with new ideas that come up. Then refine with more sketching and diagraming. Pen and paper are still invaluable tools.
